Seven seats is not a packing plan

Count the seats you will use and measure what must stay behind them. Folded-seat cargo photographs can hide the real constraint.

What changes the plan

01

Create a passenger map before comparing vehicles. Mark each occupied seat and identify who needs access to the rear row. Then list bags by dimensions, including the stroller in its folded state and any mobility equipment. Ask for a photograph or demonstration with the same rows in use. A maximum cargo figure with seats folded does not describe your family’s layout.

02

Confirm restraint and seating requirements with the rental operator and the relevant product instructions before booking. Do not infer child-seat compatibility from the vehicle category alone. Check the access needed to install and inspect equipment correctly. Keep the driver’s view clear and use the vehicle’s approved loading arrangements; do not solve a space shortage by placing loose heavy bags around passengers.

03

Test the arrival and daily-use scenarios separately. Airport luggage may disappear after check-in, while a stroller and day bags stay with you. If one transfer creates the only space problem, compare a separate luggage arrangement with a larger vehicle for the whole rental. Ask for both totals in writing rather than deciding from a daily rate alone.
